How to to buy a used car
Most people are selling their cars because they are experiencing a problem, but some are selling because they want to upgrade or buy new ones, so you need to be careful when purchasing a used car, most people are selling their cars bellow 100.000 kilos because that is when the car is out of motor plan, so this are the thing that you need to check before taking that big step.

* Check the car's millage

Check if there is a manual book this will help you to know the history of the car you are buying and also help you when maintaining it, if a car is above 100.000 kilos chances are that it will give you problems in the long run, but I think this is the reasonable way of buying a car, so don't just trust the dealer.

* Check the oil leaks

Check under the car chances are there will be some oil drop underneath, check the engine make sure that there is no excess oil spillage on the engine.

*Go for a test drive

test drive it listen to the sound, feel the steering wheel if it is shaking then the steering rag is faulty, steering rag is a shaft that holds the steering wheel to the wheels, let go of a steering wheel for a second while the car is in motion if the car moves to one side there is a alignment problem, if the car is shaking the it is out of balancing when you brake and the car slips the the tires are worn out, while test driving check if there is no smoke, if the car's rings and bearings are worn out the car will smoke, check if the car is over heating if it is over heating the car engine top is faulty and could cost you thousands of rand to repair.

* Check the paint

Check if there is no orange peals on the paint, if the car has been on accident it will be repainted so there will be double paint on the edges
like on the fender, bonnet or on the boot's edges, when you look from far you will see the two tone i.e the two colors of paint that are not the same, check the head lights if the lights are not the same or shaded or has rust in them that car was involved in an accident, when the car hits an object or another car the lights breaks the car will be fixed so when the lights are replaced but they wont be the same again there will be some dust and water going in. If you find a car with these problems don't buy it.
